More Tropical Cyclone affects to Southern part of Vietnam

(tcforecast) General speaking, or climatological speaking, tropical cyclones affect to northern part of Vietnam first in the beginning of typhoon season. Then, central areas are threatened by tropical cyclone because of moving to the north of sub-tropical high; and till to the end of the typhoon season, most of typhoon will affect to southern provinces.

Regards to recent announcement from National Center for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting (NCHMF) of Vietnam, there may be more tropical cyclones making landfall on the southern provinces. There might be 10 - 12 tropical cyclones and 4 - 5 tropical depressions over East Vietnam sea. 6 of the TCs and 3 - 4 of TDs may directly affect to Vietnam.

The research also showed that, due to climate changes, next typhoon season will be more complicated and not followed the climatological rules. There might be also more extreme heavy rain and hot spell during next summer.
