Tropical Storm No1 over Western Pacific is expected to be on 3 May

(tcforecast) Tropical depression One is forecast to strike the Philippines as a tropical storm at about 18:00 GMT on 3 May (01:00 on 4May - Vietnam local Time). Data supplied by the US Navy and Air Force Joint Typhoon Warning Center suggest that the point of landfall will be near 14.4 N, 124.6 E. One is expected to bring 1-minute maximum sustained winds to the region of around 64 km/h (40 mph). Wind gusts in the area may be considerably higher.
